The Pacific Salmon Slam is a conservation-focused fishing challenge created to celebrate British Columbia’s recreational anglers, encourage appreciation for wild Pacific salmon, and support projects that contribute to the conservation, restoration, and stewardship of salmon and their habitats.
By participating in the Pacific Salmon Slam, you become part of a community of anglers who share a commitment to responsible fishing, ethical participation, and protecting the future of wild Pacific salmon.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) establish the rules and conditions that apply to your participation in the Pacific Salmon Slam, including your use of our website, participant platform, digital services, and related programs.
By creating an account, registering for the challenge, submitting catches, or otherwise participating in the Pacific Salmon Slam, you agree to these Terms.

Participation in the Pacific Salmon Slam is open to individuals who:

Participation in the Pacific Salmon Slam does not replace or modify any legal fishing requirements.

The Pacific Salmon Slam challenge requires participants to document eligible catches of all five Pacific salmon species recognized by the program.
To complete the challenge, participants must:

Participants are responsible for ensuring their submissions are accurate and complete.

Participants who complete the Pacific Salmon Slam may be eligible to receive a commemorative challenge coin or other recognition item.

Pacific Salmon Slam reserves the right to modify recognition items, designs, availability, or fulfillment processes.

The majority of net program proceeds are intended to be reinvested into projects that support:

Participants retain ownership of content they submit.
By submitting content, participants grant Pacific Salmon Slam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, share, and promote submitted content for purposes related to:

These materials are provided for personal, non-commercial use in connection with participation in the Pacific Salmon Slam.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or unlawful, that provision will be interpreted or removed to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to remain valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with the Pacific Salmon Slam Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Code of Conduct, and any additional program rules, represent the complete agreement between you and Pacific Salmon Slam regarding participation in the program.
